Expression: Media & Contents

Challenge Statement

Urban individuals today face increasing levels of stress, anxiety, and loneliness — often without knowing where to turn for help. While conversations about mental health are becoming more common online, much of the content remains scattered, surface-level, or out of reach for those genuinely seeking holistic well-being and faith-based hope.

Context

In today’s fast-paced city life, people long for safe and relatable spaces to talk about mental health, find trusted guidance, and discover stories that bring hope. Yet, there’s no single, city-based digital hub that connects awareness, access to care, and community encouragement.

The Mental Health Portal aims to bridge this gap by combining a thoughtfully designed website with a vibrant social media presence. The platform will feature practical articles, expert insights, and a curated directory of local counsellors and resources. On social media, creative reels, carousels, and stories will communicate key mental health themes in a way that resonates with the urban audience — helping normalize conversations around emotional well-being and pointing people toward real help and hope.

Help us make mental health conversations real, hopeful, and accessible.

Desired Outcome

To design and launch a connected web + social media platform that promotes mental health awareness and access across the city.

By the end of the project, we aim to:

  • Build a user-friendly website featuring blogs, personal stories, and a directory of verified counsellors and mental health resources.
  • Create and implement a social media strategy focused on consistent publishing of reels, carousels, and stories that creatively address key topics.
  • Design and produce an initial set of reels and carousels centered around one or two major mental health issues relevant to urban audiences.
