What’s the problem?

Many Church tech teams across urban areas possess deep expertise in tech stacks, tools, and practical solutions. Yet, their knowledge remains isolated due to:

  • Disconnection between seasoned professionals and curious learners
  • Lack of structured channels to share knowledge meaningfully
  • Time constraints or a mindset that teaching requires big effort
  • No faith-based space where it feels safe or purposeful to give back
  • Absence of lightweight, async tools to pass on insights quickly

Why is this a problem?

  1. Knowledge stays siloed: Valuable experience in media production, live streaming, AV systems and tech troubleshooting doesn’t reach the wider body of Christ.
  2. Younger teams reinvent the wheel: Without access to guidance from experienced media teams, newer churches struggle, often wasting time and energy on trial-and-error approaches.
  3. Tech ministry becomes transactional: Volunteers serve without seeing the long-term impact of mentorship, and opportunities for cross-church collaboration are missed.
  4. Churches lose collective momentum: Without shared learning, churches may depend too heavily on external consultants instead of equipping their own people.
  5. Faith-driven expertise gets buried: Christian professionals with deep tech and media insight may feel their contributions are only “technical,” not spiritual or missional.

What happens if we don’t solve this?

  1. Churches stay digitally stuck
  2. Younger volunteers burn out
  3. Excellence becomes exclusive
  4. Kingdom innovation slows down
