What’s the problem?
In a rapidly urbanizing and transient city like Pune, many believers relocate for education, jobs, or family reasons. However, after moving, they often struggle to find a trustworthy, gospel-centered local church that aligns with their values and theology.
Google searches provide little clarity. Referrals are inconsistent. Denominational differences, language barriers, or doctrinal confusion create additional hurdles. Meanwhile, many go weeks or months without meaningful fellowship, spiritual covering, or opportunities to serve.
Why is this a problem?
- Spiritual dryness sets in: Without fellowship, believers disconnect from regular Word, worship, and accountability.
- Believers remain isolated: They hesitate to attend unknown churches due to safety or doctrinal concerns.
- Gifted individuals remain unused: Musicians, teachers, volunteers, and leaders are left idle.
- Ministries miss opportunities: Churches miss the chance to welcome, disciple, and mobilize incoming believers.
- Young professionals are vulnerable: In absence of fellowship, many drift into secular culture or unhealthy lifestyles.
What happens if we don’t solve this?
- Christians live disconnected from spiritual family and calling, despite being in the city.
- The Church becomes a Sunday event, not a living community across the city.
- Churches remain siloed, missing the vision of being a city-wide body.
- Young adults grow cynical about church relevance and real fellowship
