What’s the problem?
Unemployment, underemployment, and purposelessness plague Christian youth in Pune. They find it hard to connect faith with career planning, interviews, and professional ambition. They’re passionate about serving God and want their work to matter but they’re unsure how to integrate their faith with professional ambition. They often end up in workspaces where spiritual values are sidelined or compromised. Additionally, there’s a glaring absence of faith-aligned job discovery platforms especially in tech, design, and startup sectors where Christian youth can connect with value-aligned employers, internships, or mission-minded organizations.
Why is this a problem?
- Faith feels irrelevant to career growth, leading to compartmentalized lives.
- Christians miss out on faith-driven opportunities in the digital and innovation economy.
- Lack of exposure to role models or mentors leads to poor decisions, burnout, or disillusionment.
- Churches lack the capacity or platforms to guide youth into future-ready, Christ-honoring careers.
- Nonprofit, mission-driven, or Christian organizations often struggle to hire young talent because there’s no unified platform to discover them.
What happens if we don’t solve this?
- Youth leave the Church, feeling it has nothing to offer them practically.
- Generational poverty and confusion continue.
- Kingdom innovation suffers, because talent isn’t mobilized for gospel-rooted tech, media, or civic solutions.
- The Church loses relevance, especially among college students and early-career professionals.
